Beautiful Michigan Day

So I could have been fooled today if you told me that it was the middle of summer here in Michigan.  It was a wonderful 82 degrees this afternoon, in Michigan in April.  I was lovely so we went out to one of the county parks – Independence Oaks and went for a walk enjoyed the water views.
My Boys enjoying the water!
Some interesting trees growing out of the water
Way out there – My husband and son playing football.
And what is better than ice cream after a 2.5 mile walk, football, and Frisbee.  So off we went to the local Dairy Farm – Cook’s Dairy Farm – where the ice cream is made right on site and is the best I have ever had. Cows and all are right there.  I didn’t get any cow pictures or ice cream pictures it was melting too fast but here is the sign.
All in all it was a wonderful day.  I am sure it was just a tease but I will take it.  I hope you had a wonderful Sunday as well!

  1. Sounds like a perfect day! 80's here today, and everything is in bloom!

Hmm…I wonder if our dairy farm nearby with homemade ice cream is open for the season yet…?

  2. I love all the warm weather returning! Great pictures. 🙂
