>GIVEAWAY: Ecopy Accidental Abduction by Eve Langlais

Book Blurb –
Accidental Abduction
Eve Langlais
Sci Fi Romance
Abducted by a space pirate, she fights the temptation to let him plunder her goods.

A boyfriend’s attempted murder leaves Megan floundering in the ocean. Sinking without hope, the bright light she sees in the night sky isn’t her doorway to heaven, but rather the beginning of her accidental abduction by a space pirate. While thankful of his rescue, Megan stays true to form and just can’t keep her mouth shut, even when he keeps threatening to kill her–or auction her off to the highest bidder. Even odder, despite her decision to not get involved with her wickedly hot captor, she can’t help craving his touch.

Tren retired from his job as a mercenary so he could enjoy life, but he never counted on the boredom of normalcy. The acquisition of rare items has somewhat filled the void, but his accidental abduction of an outspoken earthling, who doesn’t know when to shut up, turns his life upside. Her fiery spirit draws him while at the same time drives him insane. Struggling with his urges, he must decide– throttle her barbarian neck or ravish her delectably lush body?

Despite what his heart tries to tell him, he’s determined to sell her to the highest bidder even as he seduces her body. However, despite his best intentions, he discovers he can’t let her go. And when a foe from his past thinks to steal her, he’ll do anything to get her back

Author Bio –
So you want to know a little about me? Well, I’m in my mid thirties, married 11 years to a wonderful supportive man–yes, he’s a hunk– who gave me three beautiful–noisy– children aged ten, seven and four. I work as a webmistress/customer service rep from home and in my spare time–of which there is tragically too little– I write, read or Wii.

I was born in British Columbia, but being a military brat lived a little bit everywhere–Quebec, New Brunswick, Labrador, Virginia (USA) and finally Ontario. My family and I currently reside in the historic town of Bowmanville, about an hour or so out of Toronto.

Wow was that ever boring!!! Now for the fun stuff.

I’m writing fantasy the way I like it–hot with a touch of magic. I enjoy reading and writing stories that push the envelope of what we consider normal, and I love to cross the line into fantasy. I tend to have alot of sexual tension in my tales as I think all torrid love affairs start with a tingle in our tummies. My heroes are very male, you could even say border line chest thumping at times. So if you want a truly sensitive man, I am not for you. But that said, my men will do almost anything for the one they love. Even babysit.

I’d love to tell you more, but judging from the sounds in the living room the children are at it again, which means I’ll need a mop and loads of patience. What I really need is a robot maid like Jane Jetson! Thanks for checking me out and hope to see you again soon.

My Thoughts

This book took me much longer to read that I was hoping that it would or than it should have so I have been trying to pin down exactly what it was that made it such a long read.  I think what it boiled down to was the book just did not move along a good rate.  It was very slow in part and seemed as thought there was too much background given for certain parts of the story.  While the story itself was kind of a different take on opposites drawn to each other and the stress and argument that go along with that situation.  The character were fun to get to know and so very very different.  Francesca starting off with everything, losing everything and then making herself whole again.  And Dallie, the pro golfer, who seems to be just a little to carefree and doesn’t seem to care about much.

At times, I felt like the story was pulled too thin and more background added to make the story work.  The story was pretty predictable but not in a bad way.  The book was worth the read but not something that I would pick up again and read in the future.  It was a one time read in my opinion.

I enjoyed the different settings in this book.  Everything from the prime time in Europe, to middle of nowhere Texas, to New York City.  I enjoy seeing how each of these character would react in the different settings and what flaw they would bring out.

The banter and arguing in the book brought some great life to the characters and helped me to relate to each.  I could understand who they were using the banter to get their own goals accomplished. This made the book stronger.

Overall, this is classic romance story but for me it was a bit longwinded.

My Rating

3 stars.  Decent book but nothing outstandingly special.

FRESCHETTA® Simply Inspired Hawaiian Style

FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™

There is little better than pizza and a great book.  I was given the opportunity to try FRESCHETTA new Simply Inspired Thin Crust Pizza.  I love trying new product but I will say that it was a huge challenge to pick from the options available:  Classic Bruschetta, Hawaiian Style, Chicken Bianco, Farmer’s Market Veggie, Rustic Pepperoni Pomodoro, Southern BBQ Recipe, or Tusacn Farmhouse.   There is a great selection there and even better is FRESCHETTA is using less packaging with this product.  Their new FRESCH-TASTE SEAL packing locks in the great flavors while using 30% less packaging.

My husband and I decided to make a reading party for our boys ages 9 and 10 to try this new product.  Since my boys were most interested in the Hawaiian Style that is what we tried.  I meant to take pictures but the kids got at the pizza too quick!  Sorry!  I especially enjoyed the thin crust of this pizza.  It has a unique taste overall and felt more like a fresh pizza than frozen.  It was really a unique taste and I would high encourage you to visit http://freschettasimplyinspired.com/  and figure out which pizza is right for you. There is a lot to choose from but I am betting that there is something that is just perfect for you.  You can also check them out on Twitter at  @freschettasl or Facebook  – http://www.facebook.com/FreschettaSimplyInspired?sk=app_7146470109.  On Facebook there are weekly giveaway for great prizes and possibly of coupons now and then.

Now I would like to give you my readers the opportunity to try this wonderful pizza and a Bamboo Cutting Board.
