The Next Always: Book One of the Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy

November 1, 2011
The Next Always: Book One of the Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy
“America’s favorite writer” (The New Yorker) begins an all-new trilogy-inspired by the inn she owns and the town she loves.
The historic hotel in BoonsBoro, Maryland, has endured war and peace, changing hands, even rumored hauntings. Now it’s getting a major facelift from the Montgomery brothers and their eccentric mother. As the architect of the family, Beckett’s social life consists mostly of talking shop over pizza and beer. But there’s another project he’s got his eye on: the girl he’s been waiting to kiss since he was fifteen…
I have read every book Nora Roberts has written and I am super excited about this book because of the setting.  I have always wanted to own a bed and breakfast so this book just clicks with me.

Outlander (20th Anniversary Edition): A Novel

The 20th anniversary edition of
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
July 5, 2011

Twenty years ago, Diana Gabaldon swept readers into her mesmerizing world brimming with history, romance, and adventure. In celebration of the series that has captured the heart of millions, here is a special 20th anniversary edition of the novel that started it all—including a new essay, a new map, a CD with Outlanderthe musical, and more.

OUTLANDER

The year is 1945. Claire Randall is traveling with her husband when she touches a boulder in one of the ancient stone circles that dot the British Isles. Suddenly she is hurled back in time to a Scotland torn by war and raiding border clans in the year of our Lord 1743. Catapulted into the intrigues of lairds and spies that may threaten her life, she soon realizes that an alliance with James Fraser, a gallant young Scots warrior, might be the only way to survive. Thus begins a work of unrivaled storytelling that has become a modern classic.

I know that this is a reprint of a book that is already out there but I am looking forward to the extras in this and the new cover is just wonderful!

Lola and the Boy Next Door

Lola and the Boy Next Door
by Stephanie Perkins

From Barnes and Noble

In this companion novel to Anna and the French Kiss, two teens discover that true love may be closer than they think
For budding costume designer Lola Nolan, the more outrageous, the outfit – more sparkly, more fun, more wild – the better. But even though Lola’s style is outrageous, she’s a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins move back into the house next door.
When the family returns and Cricket – a gifted inventor and engineer – steps out from his twin sister’s shadow and back into Lola’s life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.
I loved Anna and the French Kiss so I cannot wait to read this one.

Then Came You: A Novel
Then You Came by Jennifer Weiner
Release July 12, 2011

scholarship and a family she’s ashamed to invite to Parents’ Weekend. Tall, blond, and outwardly identical to her wealthy prep-school-educated classmates, her plan is to take the ten thousand dollars she’ll receive from donating her “pedigree” eggs and try to save her father from addiction…
Annie Barrow is a thirty-four-year-old working-class married mother of two who scrapes by on her husband’s single paycheck. After watching a TV show about surrogates, she thinks she’s found a way to recover a sense of purpose and bring in some extra cash…
India Bishop, thirty-eight (really forty-three), believes she’s found her happy ending when she marries a very wealthy and much older man, Marcus Croft, but decides that a baby will seal the deal. When all of her attempts at pregnancy fail, she turns to technology, and Annie and Jules, to help make her dreams come true…
But each woman’s plans are thrown into disarray when Marcus suddenly dies, and his twenty-three-year-old daughter Bettina is named guardian of the unborn child. As the baby’s due date draws near, these four women—with nothing and everything in common—discover what makes each of them a mother in her own right.
With her laugh-out-loud humor, startling tenderness, and spot-on characterizations, Jennifer Weiner once again takes listeners into the heart of women’s lives in America, in an unforgettable, timely tale that interweaves themes of class and entitlement, surrogacy and donorship, parental rights and the measure of motherhood.

Uncommon Criminals (A Heist Society Novel)

Uncommon Criminals by Ally Carter
June 21, 2011

Katarina Bishop has worn a lot of labels in her short life: Friend. Niece. Daughter. Thief. But for the last two months she’s simply been known as the girl who ran the crew that robbed the greatest museum in the world. That’s why Kat isn’t surprised when she’s asked to steal the infamous Cleopatra Emerald so it can be returned to its rightful owners.
There are only three problems. First, the gem hasn’t been seen in public in thirty years. Second, since the fall of the Egyptian empire and the suicide of Cleopatra, no one who holds the emerald keeps it for long — and in Kat’s world, history almost always repeats itself. But it’s the third problem that makes Kat’s crew the most nervous, and that is . . . the emerald is cursed.
Kat might be in way over her head, but she’s not going down without a fight. After all, she has her best friend — the gorgeous Hale — and the rest of her crew with her as they chase the Cleopatra around the globe, dodging curses and realizing that the same tricks and cons her family has used for centuries are useless this time.
Which means, this time, Katarina Bishop is making up her own rules.

The Rebel (Hqn)

The Rebel by J.R. Ward
June 28, 2011

Nate Walker has never shied away from the hard road. Even when it meant leaving behind his family’s wealth… and the fiancée who only wanted a rich man. Nothing was going to stop him from opening his own ï ¬ ve-star restaurant.
And he was on his way—until his car broke down on a dark road in the Adirondacks, leading him right to White Caps Inn… and Frankie Moorehouse.
Suddenly Nate has a job he doesn’t really need—and an affair that has to end when summer does. Except Frankie has a way about her. She gets under his skin. She even makes him want to do what he never thought he could: stay forever.
