So I think the story of my summer Monday post is going to be…..wow it was a busy week.  Work was crazy this past week.  And the weekend was packed with a wedding, girl’s night and Father’s Day.  That being said…I did get reading in this week YEAH!!

It’s Monday What are you Reading?

It was a super busy week for the last week.  It was the kids last week of school so that meant music concerts, evenings completely full, a graduation.  Plus it was my hsuband’s birthday on Saturday and we celebrated with his parents yesterday and we went to the Dark Days Event in Lansing on Saturday.  Not a lot of reading time.

The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross

Review coming this week.  

This was another challenge for me – I enjoyed the book but steampunk takes me a really long time to read.

I got this at the signing on Saturday and started it yesterday afternoon.  I was up way too late reading because I just could not put it down.

I found the main character in the book to be someone that I could easily connect with and I just enjoyed the story line.

This was a typical Debbie Macomber book.  I good solid read.

I know that this book has had a ton of mixed reviews.  I enjoyed it but thought that it moved a bit slow.

This was my second attempt at Steampunk and I enjoyed this Novella.  It left me wanting more.

Steamrolled

I did enjoy this book my first attempt at steampunk but it did take me a long time to read.  I think because it was outside my normal genres.  The book had a wonderful story line.

Stilettos and Scoundrels 

Review will be posted the first week of June for a Blog Tour

I liked the premise of this book.  Really enjoyed the main character.
